The soft ladle has been the surprise stand out in its ability to scrape things out while transferring to jars. The spoon is very shallow but it was needed to mix large pitchers so that is not an issue. The spatula is not being used for flipping (it's a bit thick) but instead as a food pushing for teaching the kids things like browning meat and onions and it is a great option for that so they don't scratch anything.
